Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

1. Overview

ProposalFirewall ("we," "our," or "us") provides software that helps proposal teams turn government solicitations into citation-backed compliance matrices. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as account details, email, organization name, uploaded documents, and content you create in the product. We also collect technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser type, device information, authentication activity, and server logs.

3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

ProposalFirewall uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage for product functions such as authentication, security, session continuity, preferences, and abuse prevention. These are not used for advertising.

We only use non-essential analytics, advertising measurement, or conversion tracking after you consent. This can include first-party product analytics sent to our analytics endpoint and, when configured, Google Analytics or Google Ads. If you decline, we do not create analytics session IDs, store first-touch attribution, load Google tracking scripts, or use marketing cookies.

When your browser exposes a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat that as a request to opt out of non-essential analytics and advertising where detectable. We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to provide, operate, secure, and improve ProposalFirewall; to process your documents and run AI-powered extraction and compliance tools; to communicate with you about support, product updates, and account matters; to process billing; and to comply with legal obligations.

5. Data retention and security

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with law. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. Sensitive data, such as documents and credentials, is stored in secure, access-controlled environments. ProposalFirewall does not use uploaded solicitation or proposal documents to train foundation models.

6. Sensitive government data

Do not upload classified information. If your team handles CUI, export-controlled data, or agency-restricted materials, you are responsible for confirming that your use of ProposalFirewall matches your contract, agency, and security obligations before upload. Contact us for enterprise controls, retention terms, and security review materials.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent for non-essential cookies and analytics; or opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Contact us to exercise these rights. You may also unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
