Help
RFP analyzer help
Practical guidance for citation-backed commercial and government RFP analysis. Upload an RFP, explore the commercial sample, or read the government solicitation help.
Supported file types
Upload PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, or ZIP packages. Scanned PDFs may need OCR depending on your workspace configuration. Unreadable files are flagged in the package map.
How citations work
Every important extracted item keeps a source filename, page or spreadsheet location, and supporting excerpt. Verified items must match source text. Items that cannot be confirmed stay marked Needs review or Unsupported.
What Verified means
Verified means the extracted statement is supported by a source quote found in the uploaded package. It is not a legal certification and does not guarantee proposal compliance.
Why some results require review
Ambiguous language, weak page references, conflicting dates, OCR uncertainty, or missing attachments can lower confidence. Review-needed items remain visible so you can correct them before export.
Commercial versus government mode
Choose Commercial RFP, Government solicitation, or Auto-detect at upload. You can change the opportunity type after analysis. Mode affects terminology, package mapping, and commercial Response Kit artifacts while preserving federal workflows.
Exports and unlocks
Free analyses include citation-backed review in the workspace. A commercial Response Kit unlock (one-time, per opportunity) opens Excel, Word response shell, executive brief, and JSON exports with verified vs review-needed distinguished. Monthly plans cover ongoing volume. Spreadsheet formula injection is escaped on export.
Data retention and deletion
Uploaded documents stay private to your organization. You can delete a solicitation and its derived artifacts from the workspace. Documents are not used to train foundation models.
What the product does not guarantee
ProposalFirewall does not provide legal advice, guaranteed compliance, or automatic bid decisions. Bid/no-bid guidance is transparent and evidence-limited. Always review official solicitation documents before submission.
If you picked the wrong mode
Change opportunity type on the overview after analysis. Commercial vs government affects terminology and which tabs are emphasized; your upload and citations remain. Auto-detect is the safe default when you do both.
